CPD Offer for Primary Science
This CPD series provides science leaders with the latest resources, updates, and strategies for ongoing improvement. Sessions focus on sharing best practices, discussing impactful initiatives, and moderating science learning across year groups.
Free to all HFCMAT schools. £100+VAT to schools outside the trust.
Each session will cover the latest resources, updates, and news to support the ongoing development of effective science leaders. Strategies for new initiatives will be shared, along with tailored elements requested by subject leaders. Sessions include sharing good practices, where leaders discuss and reflect on initiatives they’ve implemented and their impacts. Each session will also include moderation of science learning for two year groups.

This meeting is a joint primary/secondary session for science leaders and educators. We will identify and plan how to effectively support transition from KS2 to KS3. It will also include opportunities to evaluate the impact of actions from the previous term, share good practices and moderate learning.

Donna is currently the Primaries Science Lead across Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust. She has been teaching for 30 years and is a science specialist who is passionate about every child developing their enthusiasm, knowledge and understanding of science through an inspiring curriculum.
Donna is an accredited and experienced primary science consultant providing support to teachers and science leaders across England guiding them with developing and delivering their science curriculum as effectively as possible. She is a STEM Learning Senior Professional Development Leader and Education Improvement Partner. Donna has previously worked with the Standards & Testing Agency as part of their KS2 Science Teacher Panel.
