  • Knowing your school context. How can the subject leader collect evidence on the strengths and areas for development in the subject of Geography? You will be given simple tools and effective strategies to achieve this and help you complete your action plan for the year using the updated audit in light of the new Ofsted EIF.

Chris Trevor, founder of Chris Trevor Consultancy in 2010, transitioned from a seasoned educator specialising in teaching 5-11 year olds and serving as the History, Geography, and Creative cross-curricular Adviser for Cheshire. Her consultancy extends support to schools and subject leader networks within Cheshire, Greater Manchester, and North-east authorities. She is dedicated to fostering a creative yet rigorous educational approach aligned with the National Curriculum. Through practical teacher courses and national presentations, Chris showcases engaging methods for teaching Geography and History. Her contributions include designing schemes of work, publishing local study packs, advising on BBC projects, and receiving an Honorary Fellowship from the Historical Association in 2021. Additionally, she is recognized for developing geography equipment and innovative history activities.
