On Monday, 16th December, we were delighted to host a truly special occasion that brought together nine of our schools for an unforgettable carol service, ‘The Journey’, at the iconic Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.

This remarkable event was a beautiful reflection of the festive spirit, the exceptional talent of our students, and the strong sense of community that defines the Holy Family Catholic Multi Academy Trust. Under the expert guidance of our music leads, students performed an inspiring selection of Christmas songs, blending traditional carols with modern pieces, including a surprise rendition of a Stormzy track. The stunning acoustics of the cathedral provided a breathtaking backdrop, amplifying the beauty of each performance.

We were thrilled to welcome over 1,200 parents, staff, and members of our Trust family to the event. It was a joy to see our students’ confidence and singing ability shining through as they shared the true meaning of Christmas with such passion and enthusiasm.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the schools involved for their outstanding performances. Special thanks go to our music staff, whose dedication and hard work ensured the success of this memorable celebration, and to the HFCMAT staff band, whose accompaniment elevated the performances even further.

As a Trust, we are immensely proud of the effort, talent, and community spirit shown by everyone who contributed to making ‘The Journey’ such a cherished event.

Wishing all our schools, families, and communities a blessed and joyful Christmas.
